People in Vancouver get brutally honest about what they really think of Toronto

For years, Toronto and Vancouver residents have had a rivalry that's not exactly as heated as the Ilya Samsonov and Shane Hollander one, if you know what I mean.

Over time, both cities have leaned pretty heavily into their respective stereotypes. Maybe a little too heavily sometimes? So when blogTO asked Vancouver locals what they really thought about Toronto, they were brutally honest.

"We think Toronto is a bunch of finance bros who like the city jungle, don't like the outdoors and are kind of stuck up," one person told us.

Oof.

We took a moment to recover from that burn before heading to our TikTok comments, where plenty of users came to Toronto's defence. "I found people in Toronto to be a lot friendlier!" one person wrote, while another added, "In TO there's way more people and easier to make friends."

At the end of the day, Toronto and Vancouver are basically siblings who never miss a chance to roast each other but know they have more in common than they'd like to admit. Wouldn't you agree?
