Toronto's iconic landmark, the CN Tower, is celebrating its 50th anniversary in grand style, and will soon reveal the fruits of a multimillion-dollar renovation.
Canada Lands Company, owner of the city's signature vertical statement, is unveiling the CN Tower's newly renovated Lower Observation Level, located 113 storeys above the city, and offering stunning, year-round views of the city.
With renovations underway since 2023, the Lower Observation Level has been partially inaccessible to CN Tower patrons for over two years. The CN Tower's $21 million renovation project had a stated goal to "modernize the space" and redesign the bustling observation area for "improved accessibility."

The Lower Observation Level will now feature expanded year-round viewing opportunities with an extended indoor observatory, a new glass floor, and interactive wall art designed to encourage greater visitor engagement.
The CN Tower's 50th anniversary celebration kicks off on Jan. 21, 2026, at 10 a.m.for the public, with more details to be announced in the days to come.
The CN Tower is located at 290 Bremner Blvd.
