Rob Ford stars in new ad for Bad Boy Furniture

Rob Ford might be taking a break to take care of his health but in the lead up to his May 11th operation he isn't shying away from the limelight. In new print ads that first appeared yesterday in the Toronto Star, our former Mayor is seen promoting Bad Boy Furniture including reclining on what looks like a leather La-Z-Boy and posing with store management.

No word yet if this will translate to a paid gig for Ford although CEO Blayne Lastman told Metro that the opportunity came about when Ford came into the store to buy some furniture.

Lastman told Metro "He negotiated a great deal...and after it was over, my general manager asked him if we could use (the photos) in an ad and he said, 'No problem.'"

Does Rob Ford's star turn in an ad for Bad Boy Furniture make you want to immediately run out to score a leather loveseat? Let us know in the comments.
