vidTO: Toronto Timelapsed

Watch for the flicker of orange that the skyscrapers relect as the sun goes down, and the patterns in the lights flickering on and off in the office towers. Neat stuff!

Toronto YouTube'r iZod has been busy hopping around the city, finding places with elevated vantage points to perch his camera equipment. It appears that iZod leaves his gear in place, auto-capturing stills for perhaps even a full 24h at a time. He then compiles the stills to create timelapsed videos.

This one is also neat. Shot at the corner of King and Spadina, streetcars go buzzing by, the traffic signals change in rapid fire, and as the wee hours of the night fall, the traffic comes to a minimum before morning once again arrives.
