International airline is hiring in Toronto and job perks include free housing

One of the world's largest and most lauded airlines is embarking on a hiring spree in Canada, which entails a job fair in Toronto later this month.

Emirates, regularly ranked one of the top international carriers and employer of more than 60,000 people, is looking to fill a number of cabin crew roles this year via open day recruitment events taking place in Vancouver, Calgary and T.O.

Flight attendant was just listed as the number one fastest-growing job in Canada for 2025, and if you land a position with Emirates, you will have some one-of-a-kind work perks to look forward to.

Beyond the health coverage and air travel discounts that one might expect when working for any airline, Emirates also offers a uniquely tax-free salary, as UAE does not have personal income tax.

The company also extends to its employees rebates on certain shopping and leisure activities while based in the brand's home city of Dubai, along with "free company-provided accomodation."

Yes, that's right: amid a cost of living crisis in Toronto, where average rent is presently around $2,400 for a one-bedroom unit, you could nab free housing if you relocate to Dubai for the job.

Interested parties should pre-register online for the January 26 career fair, which will run all day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Novotel Toronto Centre, 45 The Esplanade.

Editor's note: A previous version of this article stated that the Toronto job fair was taking place at the Hilton Toronto at Richmond and University, a venue listed erroneously by the PR firm handling the event.
