These hotels were just crowned the best in Ontario

Your perfect staycation getaway could be closer than you think, as the best hotels in Ontario for 2024 were just crowned in the 31st World Travel Awards.

The annual travel ranking ranks hotels worldwide by region and class, including the best of the best in six separate categories for Ontario accommodations.

Here are the best hotels in Ontario for 2024, according to the 31st World Travel Awards.

• Leading Hotel overall: Four Seasons Hotel Toronto
• Leading Airport Hotel: Sheraton Gateway Hotel in Toronto International Airport
• Leading Boutique Hotel: Bisha Hotel Toronto
• Leading Business Hotel: The Ritz-Carlton, Toronto
• Leading Hotel Suite 2024: Royal Suite at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto
• Leading Resort 2024: JW Marriott The Rosseau Muskoka Resort & Spa

Graham Cooke, founder of World Travel Awards, says that this year's winners "represent the very best in travel and tourism from across the Caribbean and Americas" and congratulates all winners for "playing starring roles in driving the regions to even greater heights."

While the Four Seasons claimed the title of Ontario's leading overall hotel, it was outvoted for the title of Canada's best, that award going to The Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel.

However, even that classic mountain retreat fell to the Beverly Hills Hotel in California, awarded the leading hotel in North America.
