Toronto Blue Jays Vlad Guerrero Jr. just bought his mom a $160,000 car

Toronto Blue Jays star Vlad Guerrero Jr. has been making the most of his offseason back home in the Dominican Republic.

Guerrero has spent the time off doing a little bit of everything, from hanging out on his farm with family to fishing with the boys. He's also been giving back to the people who matter most to him.

On Thursday, Guerrero shared a video to his Instagram story showing him surprising his mother, Riquelma Ramos, with a brand-new luxury SUV.

He shared a photo of his mom posing with the 2026 Lexus LX 600, writing, "Te amo, te mereces eso y más," which translates to "I love you, you deserve that and more."

This gift to his mom wasn't cheap. A Lexus LX 600 starts around $157,000, and this model Vlad bought appears to be suped up with a luxury, burnt-orange leather interior.

Guerrero and his mother have always shared a close relationship. Each season, the Blue Jays slugger has typically worn pink gloves, socks or cleats throughout May to honour the woman who raised him.

Besides spending time with his friends and family, Guerrero also apparently has been putting in work with his dad, Hall of Famer Vlad Guerrero Sr., in hopes of getting his swing back on track.

Guerrero is coming off his most frustrating season yet in his Blue Jays tenure. The six-time All-Star struggled to find power off the bat all season and hit for a career-worst .260 at the plate. That's a long way from the 20+ homers he hit in his five previous seasons.
