Orlando Magic players visited Drake's favourite Toronto restaurant

The Orlando Magic were in the city last week for two games in three days against the Toronto Raptors, and the team's players couldn't resist making a stop at Drake's favourite restaurant: Sotto Sotto.

Sotto Sotto has been a popular upscale Italian restaurant since it opened its Yorkville doors in 1993, and has become just as well-known for the glowing reviews it has received from A-list celebrities.

Drake has name-dropped Sotto Sotto in several of his songs, calling the restaurant the place he goes to talk "women and vino," while Grammy-winning producer DJ Khaled has called it one of the best restaurants he's ever visited.

Naturally, players from the Orlando Magic couldn't turn down the opportunity to see what the hype was all about.

With the Magic staying at the Four Seasons, players Desmond Bane, Anthony Black, Franz Wagner, and Tristan Da Silva made a trip to the restaurant ahead of their NBA Cup game against the Raptors.

Black shared a photo on social media the following day showing him and his teammates posing with Sotto Sotto takeout bags in front of the Raptors logo, following Orlando's 121-114 win last Friday.

The Magic aren't the only NBA stars to have stopped by the Yorkville hotspot during a visit to the city. Sotto Sotto has photos of the late Kobe Bryant and 11-time All-Star James Harden dropping in over the years.

Sotto Sotto is located at 120 Avenue Rd. in Yorkville.
