Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Brendon Little has become the newest dad on the team.
Little and his wife, Emily, announced on social media that they welcomed a baby girl named Hudson to the world on Aug. 13.
The couple shared a family photo with baby Hudson on Emily's Instagram page, with Little sporting a new hat that had "Hudson Est. 2026" stitched across the front.
It just happened to be an eventful week for the left-handed bullpen arm, as his daughter was born just two days after his 30th birthday on Aug. 11.
Little was placed on the paternity list before the final game of the Blue Jays' series against the Boston Red Sox last Thursday and returned to Toronto's roster following the birth of his daughter.

Little returned to the Rogers Centre mound on Sunday afternoon, coming in to relieve Dylan Cease after the starter turned in a dominant 6.1-inning, 10-strikeout performance. Little walked two batters and gave up a hit to the eight batters he faced.
It has been a tough season for Little, who has split much of his year between Toronto and the team's Triple-A affiliate in Buffalo. The 30-year-old has a 9.37 ERA in 17 games this season, with 23 strikeouts over 16.1 innings.
Little is the second Blue Jays player to welcome a newborn during this 2026 season. In July, George Springer and his wife, Charlise, welcomed their third child.
