Although the 2025 World Series ended nearly nine months ago, the gut-wrenching Game 7 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers feels like a wound not needing to be reopened.
The Los Angeles Dodgers appear to be still adding salt to Toronto Blue Jays fans' World Series heartbreak, especially with this new fan giveaway commemorating the team's game-saving catch at the Rogers Centre.
The bobblehead, which will be handed out to the first 40,000 fans at Dodger Stadium on Sept. 6, depicts Los Angeles outfielder Andy Pages' dramatic catch on a deep fly ball from Ernie Clement to left-centre field, while Kiké Hernández awkwardly ducks underneath his teammate.
The bobblehead pose makes it look like Hernández is sitting on Pages' lap, like he's some mall Santa, as he hauls in the catch.

The game-saving play came with two outs, the bases loaded, and the score tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings. Had the ball dropped, the Blue Jays would've won the World Series for the first time since 1993.
We are all familiar with how it eventually ended... and instead, the Dodgers now have an odd bobblehead to celebrate it.
By no surprise, the collective reaction from Blue Jays fans appears to be hatred.
"I know it's just a game, but I'm still not over this. This bobblehead is giving me PTSD," one Toronto fan wrote on X.
"Oh, great. A bobblehead celebrating the worst moment in Toronto sports," another posted.
Thankfully, this bobblehead giveaway won't come against Toronto.
The teams have already wrapped up their season series against one another, meaning no Blue Jays fans will endure 40,000 Dodgers fans holding miniature reminders of Game 7.
And we don't want it for Christmas either.
But kudos to the Dodgers. They are having a great season so far, with the best record in baseball at the All-Star break (61-36) and an 11.5-game lead in the NL West.
They are on pace to win their third straight World Series unless Toronto can somehow turn this season around to get the last laugh — one can dream.
