Toronto Maple Leafs' Max Domi is getting married to longtime girlfriend

Max Domi made sure to end his offseason on a happy note. 

The 31-year-old Toronto Maple Leafs forward is getting married, sharing the news of his engagement to longtime girlfriend Estelle Phillips on social media. Domi shared a photo on Instagram of Phillips wearing a veil, while holding up her hand to show off a shiny diamond ring. 

Domi apparently popped the question on Phillips' birthday. 

"I love you so much," Domi captioned the post.

It's been a tough summer for Domi, who had to undergo back surgery this offseason and reportedly suffered some complications from the procedure that will put him out of action indefinitely.

Congratulatory messages poured in on the post, including some notable comments from players across the NHL, and even one NFL player. 

"Yeah, Max! Congrats, brother," commented San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey. 

"Yes sirrr!! Congrats, guys," wrote ex-Maple Leafs teammate Mitch Marner.

"Let's goooo!! Congrats, guys," added New York Islanders star Bo Horvat.
