After 13 seasons and more than 950 games in a Toronto Maple Leafs uniform, the Morgan Rielly era appears to be near its end.
The veteran defenceman has been the subject of trade speculation for weeks, but those rumours took a big step forward on Tuesday.
According to TSN insider Darren Dreger, Rielly's agent has submitted a list of four Western Conference teams the 32-year-old would be willing to join if the Maple Leafs trade him.
Dreger said the situation remains fluid and will be evaluated on a team-by-team basis, which means additional teams could be added to the list if the fit is right.

Rielly is entering the fifth season of an eight-year $60-million deal, with an annual cap hit of $7.5 million, but his long-term future with the Maple Leafs has been in doubt following a declining 2025-26 campaign.
The Maple Leafs also recently acquired Darren Raddysh in a sign-and-trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Emil Andrae in a trade with the Philadelphia Flyers, which leaves the team needing to make room and cap space.
While the exact four teams on Rielly's list have not been identified, there's been speculation about several potential destinations.
Speaking on TSN's First Up, Chris Johnston of The Athletic suggested the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks are likely to be two of the four teams in conversation.
Both clubs are building around young cores and could benefit from adding an experienced defenceman. Johnston also noted that Rielly's $7.5-million cap hit could help teams reach the NHL's new salary-cap floor of $76.9 million.
Given Rielly's West Coast roots, teams such as Vancouver or Seattle could also be possibilities, though no reports have yet linked either team to his list.

Rielly ranks third all-time in games played by a Maple Leafs defenceman with 951, trailing only NHL legends Tim Horton and Börje Salming. He also sits second in franchise history in points by a defenceman with 549 – only behind Salming.
With the 2026 NHL Draft on tap for later this week, several insiders think a potential trade could come rather sooner than later as Toronto continues to retool its roster and add to its draft capital.
