Finding the right coffee spot in a new city can often be a challenge, but it hasn’t been an issue for Toronto Tempo rookie Teonni Key.
Key was drafted 22nd overall by the Toronto Tempo in last month's WNBA Draft and quickly made a move to a country she had never been to before. Still, she's had no problem embracing the culture.
The 22-year-old said she's been trying to explore as much as possible, but if there's one place she's frequented most, it's Tim Hortons.
In a video posted to the team's official Instagram account, players shared their go-to coffee orders and favourite spots around the city. Some said they don't drink coffee and others leaned toward matcha, while Key said she's already made several trips to "Timmies."

It’s hard to tell what's more Canadian, the fact that she's chosen Tim Hortons as her go-to coffee spot, or how she already has the local lingo down.
When asked what other spots she's checked out, Key mentioned the Eaton Centre, but said the crowds were a bit much, so she quickly left. Spoken like a true Torontonian.
Speaking with blogTO at last week's media day, Key said the hustle and bustle of the city has been the biggest adjustment for her, growing up in North Carolina and Kentucky.
Despite that, she added that everyone she's met so far has been welcoming.

Key is one of two rookies on the Tempo roster for their inaugural WNBA season. Last year, the 6-foot-5 forward averaged 11 points and 7.5 rebounds in her final season with the University of Kentucky.
The Toronto Tempo will open its season on Friday at Coca-Cola Coliseum against the Washington Mystics at 7:30 p.m.
