The Toronto Maple Leafs are in the midst of a massive summer of change, and two more casualties have hit the organization.
There has been massive turnover in Toronto's hockey ops early in the offseason. They've changed out GMs, moving from Brad Treliving to John Chayka, brought in Leafs legend Mats Sundin into the front office, and most recently fired head coach Craig Berube.
Even Shane Doan has left after spending the past three seasons as a special assistant to the GM.
Now, two more members of the front office will need to be replaced, as assistant GMs Brandon Pridham and Derek Clancey have left the organization. The Maple Leafs made the announcement on Sunday.
"Brandon has played an integral role in the organization over the past 12 seasons," Chayka said in a statement. "We are sincerely appreciative of Brandon's professionalism, commitment, and dedication to the Maple Leafs throughout his tenure.
"Derek also brought valuable experience and insight to our hockey operations department during his time with the club. We thank both Brandon and Derek for their contributions to the organization and wish them and their families all the very best moving forward."

The 52-year-old Pridham initially joined the Maple Leafs organization all the way back during the 2014-15 season as a special assistant to the GM. He was then promoted to assistant GM in 2018-19 and has served in that role ever since, where he specialized in cap management for the team.
To get an idea of how valued Pridham was to the organization, he survived through multiple GMs while still maintaining his role. Since he joined the organization, he has served under four different GMs, including Dave Nonis, Lou Lamoriello, Kyle Dubas, and Treliving.
When Toronto fired Treliving, Pridham was temporarily promoted to be the Leafs interim GM alongside AGM Ryan Hardy until Chayka was eventually brought in full-time.
Clancey served three seasons with the Leafs in an AGM role. Before that, he was a longtime member of the Pittsburgh Penguins scouting staff and had stints with both the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks.
It's expected that Pridham will pursue a GM job elsewhere. His name has come up nearly every time an opening pops up across the league, and he has put in more than enough time to be considered a serious candidate. As it stands, it might be difficult, as a few high-profile jobs have already been filled.
The Leafs will have some work to do to replace those two. With Pridham and Clancey gone, Chayka will now have a front office staff that includes AGMs Hardy, Hayley Wickenheiser, and Darryl Metcalf.
It remains to be seen if even more change comes to that group this summer.
