This 10-storey snow tubing run in Ontario feels like an Olympic event

With the Winter Olympics wrapping up today, some of us are feeling inspired to embrace the snow and chilly temperatures and dive into exciting winter sports like snow tubing, skiing, and more, right here in Ontario.

If you're someone who actually enjoys the colder months (yes, those people do exist), you may just want to add snow tubing at Boler Mountain to your winter bucket list.

While Boler Mountain offers a range of seasonal activities, including skiing and snowboarding, its snow tubing park just might be the main attraction. The park features three tube runs, each standing 10 storeys high. With that kind of height, it's no surprise riders can reach speeds of up to 70 kilometres an hour as they zip down the hill.

Of course, safety measures are in place. Guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride, and helmets are mandatory.

Tickets for snow tubing are available online only and cost $36 plus applicable taxes. Each ticket is valid for a two-hour session and can be purchased directly through Boler Mountain's website. Those interested in skiing or snowboarding will need to purchase separate tickets for those activities.

The Tube Park operates from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Fridays, 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays, and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Boler Mountain's Tube Park is located at 689 Griffith St. in London, Ont.
