Toronto Blue Jays fans will be getting boatloads of free stuff at games this upcoming season as the team commemorates five decades in the city.
The Blue Jays' 50th season promo schedule is filled to the brim with free giveaways for fans, covering everything from traditional giveaway items like bobbleheads and apparel to retro-themed items that show love to the team's heyday in the 1990s.
A total of 74 home games will offer some sort of promotion, which means that over 90 per cent of Toronto's appearances at the Rogers Centre this year will feature a giveaway for fans.
All giveaways are open to the first 15,000 fans in attendance, except for specialty ticket games.
The Blue Jays will kick things off by celebrating last season's thrilling run to the World Series. A total of three games will give Toronto fans a chance to get their hands on 2025 AL Champions gear:
Of course, the 50th season will be a big theme throughout the entire season, with the Blue Jays wearing a special patch on their jerseys to celebrate. Fans will be able to snag all sorts of retro giveaway items to commemorate that fact, with 11 giveaways to celebrate:
That won't be all, as the Blue Jays also have seven other general giveaway nights on the schedule as well:
Theme nights have become a staple in baseball over the years, and the Jays are not forgetting about that. There are a total of six theme nights in the 2026 season, including staples like Canada Day and Pride Night, as well as a Barbie Game Day, Cricket Day, Blue Jays Transformers Day, and a Hello Kitty Day.
There will also be eight specialty ticket games. Fans who buy specialty tickets will be eligible to get a free item on purchase, and will feature themes such as Stranger Things, SpongeBob SquarePants, Naruto, Care Bears, Potato Head, Gate 14, university and college, and youth baseball.
On top of the new promos included, there will also be a variety of fan-favourites returning. This includes 12 Loonie Dog Nights, which will have a special $0.77 hot dog night on April 7 to celebrate the Jays' inaugural season in 1977.
The Jays also confirmed that City Connect Fridays will also be making a return this season.
