Son of Toronto Raptors legend Kyle Lowry looks like an unreal basketball player

Kyle Lowry gave the Toronto Raptors nine memorable seasons and, most importantly, helped deliver the franchise's first NBA championship in 2019. But as his accomplished basketball career winds down, he's been focused on leaving a legacy for his two boys.

Lowry's oldest son is already carving out a path of his own on the high school basketball scene.

Karter King Lowry just wrapped up his freshman season at Riviera Prep Academy in Miami, and the 14-year-old point guard's game is already turning heads on social media.

In 21 games with Riviera Prep this season, Karter averaged 12.4 points, and his style of play is looking quite similar to the Raptors legend himself.

From his confident drives to the basket to his impressive ball-handling ability, if you watched the highlight video, you can see subtle flashes of his father's game throughout.

Even his shooting mechanics and pace with the ball resemble a younger version of Lowry during his early NBA years. See for yourself.

During the summer, Karter plays AAU basketball for K-Low Elite, an Adidas-sponsored youth development program founded by his dad in the Philadelphia area.

Around a decade ago, Lowry launched the program with his brother, Lonnie, to provide more opportunities for young players growing up in North Philadelphia — chances Lowry felt he did not always have growing up in the same community.

Now, years after starting the program, Lowry gets to watch his own son develop within it alongside some of the city's best young players.

Karter still has three years of high school basketball ahead of him before taking a step to the next level, but if these highlight tapes are any indication of his potential, the Raptors legend's son has a bright basketball future ahead.

The Toronto Raptors will just have to wait until the 2030 NBA Draft to get their hands on Lowry 2.0.
