Ontario may still be battling peak winter conditions, but with spring just around the corner, the countdown has officially begun for the opening of Canada's Wonderland for the park's 2026 season.
One of the province's biggest seasonal attractions is officially set to reopen on May 3.
With Wonderland's 2026 season now just under three months away, the park has begun a massive hiring drive to fill 4,000 seasonal positions — part of a broader hiring campaign by parent company Six Flags to staff more than 50,000 positions at its North American parks ahead of the spring season.
Among the jobs on offer this year, Wonderland is hiring Food & Beverage Associates, Ride Operators, Lifeguards, Security Associates, Sales Associates for Merchandise and Games, Park Services Attendants and more.
"We may be in the cold depths of winter, but we're excited about the fun in store this season and have hiring efforts already underway," said Taneshia Khan, Wonderland's director of Human Resources.
You're probably not going to get rich on the wages of $16.60 for all students under 18 years of age and $17.60 for 18 years and older, but Khan states that the park offers "fun and perks" in addition to "competitive wages, meaningful opportunities to build leadership skills and real pathways for professional growth," calling the gig a chance "to make lifelong friends and start building a future."
Canada's Wonderland is home to 18 roller coasters, including the most recent addition, AlpenFury, which opened in 2025 to much fanfare and is sure to remain a hot ticket this season.
