Toronto Raptors still not getting much respect in NBA title odds

The Toronto Raptors, mostly, have been blowing their preseason predictions out of the water.

Sitting at 15-7 and second in the NBA's Eastern Conference, the Raptors are looking well on their way to a return to the playoffs for the first time since 2022.

But despite hitting the ground running through the quarter mark of the season, they haven't exactly found themselves getting all that much respect from the NBA oddsmakers.

Before the season began, the Raptors had +10000 odds to win the NBA title, which ranked them tied for 18th in the NBA.

And while the team's hot streak has bumped them up to +8000 title odds, oddsmakers still don't exactly see them among the crop of the NBA.

Toronto's odds compared to other teams still sit in the exact same spot, as they're still 18th among the league's 30 teams.

Topping the list are a series of unsurprising names, with last year's champions in the Oklahoma City Thunder looking like clear favourites to repeat, given their 21-1 start to the season.

Here's the full NBA 2026 title odds list, via FanDuel:

  • Oklahoma City Thunder, +130
  • Denver Nuggets, +700
  • Houston Rockets, +950
  • Cleveland Cavaliers, +1300
  • Los Angeles Lakers, +1500
  • New York Knicks, +1600
  • Orlando Magic, +2500
  • Golden State Warriors. +2500

  • Atlanta Hawks, +5000
  • Los Angeles Clippers, +5500

  • Miami Heat, +6000
  • Milwaukee Bucks, +6500
  • Toronto Raptors, +8000
  • Chicago Bulls, +20000
  • Dallas Mavericks, +30000
  • Phoenix Suns, +60000
  • Portland Trail Blazers, +70000
  • Brooklyn Nets, +100000
  • Charlotte Hornets, +100000
  • Utah Jazz, +100000

  • Sacramento Kings, +100000
  • New Orleans Pelicans, +100000
  • Indiana Pacers, +100000

With 60 games left to go in the regular season, we'll be keeping an eye on if the Raptors get a bit more respect moving forward.
