All the ways Vladdy and Toronto Blue Jays ruthlessly trolled the New York Yankees

Toronto Blue Jays superstar Vladimir Guerrero Jr. might've been the happiest man on the planet on Wednesday evening.

And he couldn't stop himself from having a bit of fun at the New York Yankees' expense.

A few months after signing a 14-year, $500-million contract that is the biggest in Canadian sports history, Guerrero had himself a performance for the ages to help knock the Yankees out of the playoffs.

In just 20 at-bats across four games, Guerrero picked up nine hits, three home runs, nine RBIs, and most importantly, did enough to help the Jays win their first playoff series in nine years.

After the game, Guerrero joined former Boston Red Sox slugger and current Fox MLB analyst David Ortiz for a post-game interview.

But it was mostly just an excuse for the two of them to make fun of their hated mutual rival.

Ortiz got Guerrero to participate in his signature catchphrase, getting the Blue Jays slugger to yell out a "Daaaaa Yankeees lose!" that has already gone viral in the hours since it aired.

Former Red Sox pitcher and Ortiz teammate Pedro Martinez also got in on the fun, telling Yankees fans that "Vladdy is your daddy" while on the air on TNT.

For Blue Jays fans who thought that their homegrown star might've been headed to free agency this winter, it's the cherry on top of a four-game playoff series they'll probably never forget.

Earlier this year, Guerrero had even liked a post on Instagram suggesting that he could end up with the Yankees one day, though he'd also done the same with the Red Sox.

And while the clip with Ortiz will undoubtedly be the one that sticks the most, it wasn't the only one with Guerrero or his teammates trolling the series loser.

Guerrero was also seen dancing to Pop Smoke's song "Hello," which features the line "I'm the king of New York." Notably, it's used as the walkup song for Yankees slugger Aaron Judge.

Jays manager John Schneider also got in a few shots of his own, ending his pre-champagne toast with the phrase "start spreading the news, b*tches, we're going [to the ALCS]," a play on the opening line of Frank Sinatra's classic tune "New York, New York," which has been a staple Yankees win song for decades.
