Spooky season is here, and ExPlace's Ghost Walks in Toronto is celebrating 20 years of fantastic and frightening night-time tours.
Two decades call for a celebration, and this one comes with eerie stories, a few scares, and a whole lot of fun.
This October, you're invited to explore Exhibition Place after dark, enter historic buildings not usually open to the public, and experience a side of the campus few visitors ever see.
Whether you opt for the classic guided Ghost Walk or venture deeper with a limited after-hours paranormal investigation, here's what you can expect.
Go behind the bright lights and events on an expert-led journey through the history of Exhibition Place. Led by staff who know the grounds best, the two-hour heritage tour brings the stories of this iconic Toronto destination to life while offering exclusive access to rarely seen sights.
Along the way, you’ll visit Scadding Cabin, Toronto's oldest surviving building, as well as the iconic Horse Palace, while uncovering some of the more unexpected stories from Exhibition Place's past.
It's ideal for all kinds of outings like date nights and group hangouts, or for those especially interested in our city's haunted history.
This classic ghost tour takes place on Fridays from Oct. 9 to Oct. 30 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The tour begins at the General Services Building (2 Manitoba Dr.), and tickets are $15.
Diehard paranormal fans, this one's for you! Join The Haunted Walk for Alone in the Dark: Exhibition Place, presented by Exhibition Place and Hotel X Toronto, and do a deep investigation of Stanley Barracks (115 Princes' Blvd.).
As the sole remaining structure from the Fort York settlement, Stanley Barracks was built in 1841 by the British Army — and let's just say it's lived to tell a tale or two.
In small, intimate groups, you’ll gain after-hours access to the historic and (reportedly) haunted building under the darkness of night.
It's an unforgettable and especially rare experience you'll be talking about long after the night is over. It takes place from Oct. 16 to Oct. 31, with tickets priced at $54.99. Be sure to act fast if you're interested because spots are limited.
Get your creep on, Toronto!
