Ontario Beliebers were given the ultimate surprise this past week when megastar Justin Bieber dropped by a local pub unannounced.
The singer — who is arguably Ontario's most famous export — is fresh off the release of his surprise album, Swag II, which was released as the reissued bonus version of his seventh studio album, Swag, released just 56 days prior.
Between promotional stops for the album, the "Daises" singer took some much-deserved time off to play games at Chicago Pub & Billiards in Cambridge, Ont., located at 1 Hespeler Rd.
"It was a complete surprise," staff at the pub told blogTO. "We didn't receive any advance notice," noting this was the first time the singer had visited the location.
While he was there, staff say he played billiards, darts, and even sang some karaoke, performing hits off his albums like "Speed Demon, "Go Baby, "All The Way," and "Things You Do." Bieber even took to Instagram to share photos of his visit, writing, "I'm a gamer what can I say."
Fans were completely shocked by the star's surprise visit to the small town, with one Belieber writing, "That is legit bananas that this is in Cambridge."
In a separate post, the 31-year-old artist shared photos he took with his wife, Hailey Bieber, and a fan at The Mule restaurant, also in Cambridge. On Monday, Hailey hosted an event at Bar Prima in Toronto to celebrate the launch of her skincare and makeup brand, Rhode, at Sephora Canada.
Bieber, who is originally from Stratford, Ont., purchased a $5 million home on Puslinch Lake along with his wife, so his presence in the area isn't entirely unexpected, but seeing him out and about in Cambridge, living like a local? Still can't "Believe" it.
