Kendrick Lamar joked about Drake lawsuit at Super Bowl halftime show

The Super Bowl halftime show put on by Kendrick Lamar was one to remember… unless you were Canadian rapper Drake.

Lamar was on the world's stage during the Super Bowl matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans. His show was introduced by none other than Samuel L. Jackson dressed as Uncle Sam and featured an appearance by pop star SZA, who is set to open for Lamar's upcoming tour.

The performance was highly anticipated, especially since Lamar dropped the massively popular diss track "Not Like Us" last year which was aimed at Drake. At first, Lamar teased the crowd about possibly not performing the song, throwing a jab at Drake in the process.

"I want to perform their favourite song, but you know they love to sue," Lamar said with a smile as the first bars of "Not Like Us" played.

He eventually would perform the song, which has multiple lines alluding to Drake's alleged relationships with younger women. During one of the song's most popular lines, Lamar gave a devious smile before delivering it.

If there was any definitive way to come out on top of a feud, performing a diss track at the Super Bowl may be it.

If Lamar dissing Drake on the world stage wasn't enough, he also got the crowd of about 76,000 fans to contribute as well. When the song got to the proper part a loud "A Minor" rang out throughout the crowd.

It looked like the crowd thoroughly enjoyed the show, but fans of Drake may have turned off the TV until the second half resumed.
