Ontario's own Matty Matheson drops 'The Bear' season 4 release date

Yes, chef! The Bear is back for its fourth season, and Ontario chef/Toronto restaurant owner Matty Matheson is making his return as character Neil Fak.

Matheson posted about the upcoming season on Instagram and dropped the release date for fans to get excited about.

“THANK YOU CHICAGO THANK YOU CREW AND CAST LOVE YOU MISS YOU FAMILY FOREVER @thebearfx SEASON 4 PREMIERES 6/25 on @hulu AND #HuluOnDisneyPlus,” Matheson shared with his followers.

When the third season dropped, all 10 episodes were put out for viewers on its premiere date of June 27, 2024, almost exactly one year from when season 4 will come out.

This season will be no different, with 10 episodes slated to drop on June 25.
If seeing Matheson play the laugh-out-loud-funny Neil Fak isn't enough for you, you can check out the real-life chef's ventures in Toronto and other parts of Ontario.

Currently, these are his restaurants you can visit (and I'm proud to say I have tried them all):

Matheson also has a restaurant in Detroit, called Stand By.

While he doesn't play a chef in The Bear, Matheson is actually the only real chef in the cast — fun fact!

I have my calendar marked, and in the meantime, will be popping over for a bite and a beverage from one of Matheson's many spots.
