Massive new Winners location is about to open in a Toronto mall

If you love a good discount on clothing, beauty, or home goods, there's a decent chance this new Toronto store opening announcement will get you excited.

Just in time for back-to-school shopping, Winners is set to open a brand new location in Toronto, and it's truly massive. Ready to welcome discount-hunters at the Scarborough Town Centre later this month, the store clocks in at nearly 40,000 square feet.

What's in store? Besides your bargains on fashion and footwear, this Winners location will also sell several designer and brand-name labels — all at the reasonably discounted prices the chain has become known for.

The store has been teasing its opening with banners indicating it'll be ready for shoppers in Summer 2025, and the official grand opening has been announced for 9:30 a.m. on Monday, August 18.

Coinciding with National Fajita Day, you might just want to score yourself a brand new Winners cooking pan to celebrate the two occasions in one go!

Following the grand opening, regular store hours will operate from Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m., from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Saturday, and from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. on Sundays.

With over 200 locations to date, Winners started out as a Toronto-based chain that was purchased by American-TJX in 1990. Since then, Winners has been merged with HomeSense and Marshalls, making it a massive discount department store chain.
