Canadian dog owners should check out this high-protein food now available at Pet Valu

You prioritize protein, but do you know who else should? Your dog! And now K9 Natural and Pet Valu are offering a brilliant way for them to get it.

K9 Natural is launching its Baked & Coated line at Pet Valu stores nationwide, entering the Canadian market for the first time.

A dog's instinctive diet is high in protein from real meat, as nature intended, and K9 Natural delivers pet food that provides the essential protein, amino acids, energy, and nutrients that pets need for strong muscles, sustained energy, and overall health.

Baked & Coated combines the real-meat, high-protein nutrition philosophy the brand is known for into a dry kibble, and it's been designed to deliver satisfying meal without compromise. Here's a closer look.

Protein by the numbers

To break it down, Baked & Coated contains 40 per cent protein, which is one of the highest protein levels available in dry dog food*. In fact, the first eight ingredients come from premium animal proteins, and the recipes contain no rendered meat meals.

At 90 per cent digestibility, dogs can actually get more usable nutrition from every meal. It's more nutrients in, and less waste out — literally.

Sustainably sourced recipes

Does Fido have a penchant for salmon? Or perhaps he's more of a poultry pup. With three signature recipes, pet parents can choose between grass-fed and pasture-raised beef and lamb, cage-free poultry, and a sustainably caught wild ocean fish blend with salmon, herring, cod, and whitefish.

Each recipe is enhanced with purposeful superfoods and a bone-broth coating for added flavour. Plus, ingredients are fully traceable to the country of origin, and each batch is tested to give you greater peace of mind regarding what you put in your dog's bowl.

It's also B-Corp Certified, giving pet parents another reason to feel good about the brand itself.

Nature's diet

Your pets are part of the family, so why not prioritize their nutrition and quality just like you would yourself?!

Pet parents everywhere are looking beyond basic nutrition these days. So, if you're ready to upgrade your dog's bowl, discover the ideal balance of convenience and quality by visiting a Pet Valu near you to shop the full range of Baked & Coated -- newly available to Canadians and their pups.
