A cafe that's already made its mark in Montreal is expanding to Toronto next month.
Coffee-holics and matcha lovers in downtown Toronto have a new reason to celebrate this November, as Montreal-based Green Drip Cafe prepares to expand beyond La Belle Province.
An equal -caffeinator, Green Drip Cafe populates its menu with Vietnamese Robusta coffee and ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, which the cafe crafts into an extensive suite of lattes, iced drinks and treats.
Gaining popularity for its picture-perfect iced lattes, which come in crowd-pleasing flavours like strawberry matcha and banana bread, the cafe's inaugural location has amassed a considerable fanbase on its Montreal home turf in the year and a half it's existed.
Soon, Toronto will get the opportunity to see what Green Drip Cafe is all about.
The cafe is setting up shop on the borders of Kensington Market and Little Italy this November, adding to an area already brimming with a robust coffee culture.
But hey, this city never seems to tire of a good matcha latte or iced coffee, so it's almost guaranteed to be welcomed with open arms.
Green Drip Cafe's exact opening date is still up in the air for now, but when it does open, you'll be able to find it at 283 College St.
