The smoke of Toronto's barbecue scene is about to get a little thicker as The Bull BBQ Pit prepares to expand with a third Toronto location, bringing its lineup of slow-smoked meats and comfort food to an area known for its industrial vibes and casual dining scene.
The Bull BBQ Pit is already operating two bustling locations in Toronto. The restaurant got its humble start in St. Catharines, Ont., before expanding to Toronto with its first downtown location at 1216 St. Clair Ave.
Since opening in 2021, it has built a loyal following with hearty barbecue classics like smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and classic Southern-inspired sides, all cooked using what it describes as "hardwood smoking techniques."
The business later expanded with a second location at 2790 Dundas St. W.
Now, its latest outpost will give west-end diners an easier way to get their barbecue fix without making the trip across town, with the third location set to open in Liberty Village.
While an official opening date hasn't been announced yet, signage for the new location is already up, with the restaurant teasing its impending opening on The Bull BBQ Pit's official Instagram account.
The new restaurant will take over the former home of Italian restaurant Insieme, which shuttered shortly after opening in November 2024.
If you've been craving smoky brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and stacked barbecue sandwiches, you'll soon have another spot to add to your rotation.
