Some egg products are being recalled across Canadian provinces due to salmonella contamination.

The products were distributed across Ontario and Quebec, mostly to hotels, restaurants and institutions, the notice added.

Those in possession of the recalled products that have been identified have been urged not to consume, use, sell, serve or distribute them.

According to Health Canada, salmonellosis has a wide range of symptoms, which usually start between six and 72 hours after exposure.

Symptoms include everything from chills, a fever, and nausea to diarrhea, stomach cramps, and more.
