Toronto shopping and dining destination getting first restaurant-nightclub concept

The Well in Toronto already has, more or less, anything you could want, but it’s about to welcome a groovy new nightclub concept.

Big things are, seemingly, always going down at The Well ever since it officially opened in late 2023.

Recent additions like Taline’s new casual concept Giragi and a Bear Steak Sandwiches location at the ever-popular Wellington Market Food Hall have only kept the lifestyle complex’s stock on the rise.

Something new is on the way, though, that could quite possibly change everything.

Opening later this fall on Wellington, Noyaa, from Dubai’s Tribes Hospitality Investment group, is finally bringing a much-needed dose of party atmosphere to The Well.

The new nightlife destination is a first-of-its-kind for The Well, whose nighttime offerings have been limited to bowling at National or late-night drinks at Aera since its inception, but don’t worry, there will be plenty to eat, too.

The nightclub doubles as a luxury restaurant, serving a blend of Mediterranean and Asian cuisines during service hours before DJs and live performances take over to keep the party alive well into the wee hours of the morning.

Helming the kitchen is Executive Chef Ciprian Gabriel Porumbacean, who blends distinct influences from his Romanian heritage, fine dining experience in the UAE and Japanese culinary philosophies to craft a truly singular style.

Expect standouts like Squid Ink Gnocchi with King Crab, Bluefin Nori Tacos and Truffle Lobster with Kaluga Caviar, alongside sushi and sashimi towers and A5 striploins seared on a hot stone tableside.

Luxury, indeed.

The physical space of the restaurant-nightclub is equally impressive as the opulent menu.

Spanning 7,000 sq. ft., the new hub will feature four distinct spaces: an intimate 10-seat omakase bar, the dazzling centrepiece bar and lounge, a 90-seat dining room, and a serene outdoor terrace.

Throughout, you’ll be graced with natural elements like cascading foliage and wood accents, all tied together with a sleek, contemporary thruline that renders the space at once peaceful and utterly alive.

It’s a level of opulence The Well has touched but has yet to fully embrace, but Noyaa may just be the catalyst the hub needs to usher in a new era of luxury.

And, hey, if the luxe lifestyle isn’t your thing, there’s always Cherry’s High Dive across the street.

With other recent additions to the local luxury nightclub scene like FYE Ultraclub, could this be signalling a rebirth of sorts for the declining Toronto nightlife scene?

We’ll just have to stay awake late enough to find out.

Noyaa will be located at The Well — 437 Wellington St.
