Martha Stewart makes surprise visit to Chinese restaurant in Toronto

Martha Stewart, also known as the queen of all things lifestyle, recently graced a Chinese restaurant in Toronto during her visit to the city.

The iconic retail businesswoman and television personality visited Pearl Yorkville, an elegant Chinese restaurant that offers a diverse menu, including traditional Cantonese-style dishes and dim sum.

On Wednesday, the restaurant shared a photo of the lifestyle expert, writing, "Thank you @marthastewart for visiting @pearlyorkville. We are so grateful for your support!"

Staff told blogTO that Stewart popped in on Monday, and ordered the Peking duck, stir-fried long beans with black bean sauce, pan-fried hockey pucks, spinach and shrimp dumplings, and soup dumplings.

This marks the second time Stewart has been in Toronto recently. Back in October, the TV host posted a photo at Nobu Toronto, noting how the new location was "very beautiful and very big!" The lifestyle guru is a longtime friend of Nobu's founder, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and was in town to celebrate the premiere of her Netflix documentary, MARTHA.

Just a few days ago, Stewart revealed that she was back in Toronto along with Spanish-American restaurateur Chef José Andrés for a new NBC show called Yes Chef! During their visit, the businesswoman said the duo visited Café Boulud in the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto as well as Michelin Star Mexican restaurant, Quetzal.

Stewart spoke highly of her culinary adventure in Toronto, noting that "Quetzal served impeccably presented and prepared dishes that were delicious!"

Among her recommendations from the Mexican spot were oysters, scallops, coal-roasted sweet potatoes, whole sea bream fish, blue corn tortillas, and of course, the margaritas (Martha pro tip: order the moras de fuego, which comes with chili tequila and Saskatoon berries).

There's no telling what other restaurants the lifestyle queen will visit during her culinary tour in Toronto, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for any possible sightings!
