The Broadway Diner is coming to Toronto, so if your favourite side dish is a hefty serving of razzle-dazzle, you won't want to miss opening night of the pop-up.

Debuting this December, it'll bring the spirit of Broadway to the six for three song- and dance-filled nights.

A touring show, the immersive experience combines mealtime with singing, dancing, neon lights, and a surplus of jazz hands.

Like Karen's Diner (but without the vitriol), the Broadway Diner is the latest in a slew of pop-ups that have made Toronto their home this year.

Inside, the space will be made over to look like a retro American-style diner, complete with bright lights, checkered floors, and plenty of formica. 

Meanwhile, servers will display talents beyond the ordinary, as they sing, dance, act, even roller skate, through each 90-minute set. Watching someone sling burgers as they belt out "Greased Lightning?" That's well worth the price of admission in my book.

On the menu, you'll find diner classics, with options for vegans and vegetarians. And though tickets ($55) include a burger, fries and a soft drink, the kitchen's extreme milk shakes and classic cocktails will no doubt be hard to resist, too.

Best (or worst) of all? With the promise that "any table can become a stage," you just might find yourself starring in the show.

My advice? Give your vocal chords a little warmup before you grab the mic.

Broadway Diner will run from December 8 to December 10 inside Mado at 144 Yonge Street.
