Mexican restaurant Dos Amigos destroyed by fire

Early this morning, approximately 35 firefighters rushed to the Bathurst and Dupont area to put out a one-alarm blaze at Dos Amigos Restaurant, reports CP24 today.

As CP24 notes, the fire likely spread from the restaurant to the apartment above it. One man who was inside at the time got out safely and a firefighter received minor injuries.

Dos Amigos posted an update to its Facebook page, and unfortunately, it's looking like the Mexican restaurant won't be able to reopen any time soon.

Due to an unfortunate fire incident at Dos Amigos Mexican Restaurant, we will be closed until further notice. We thank you for your support during this time."
