Hudson Kitchen

Hudson Kitchen serves its last mushroom salad

TIFF makes restaurants and breaks restaurants -- or at least it's tough to ride the high of Brad Pitt when he heads to warmer climes. Hudson Kitchen has quietly shuttered after so much attention and promise last summer and fall. In any case, Dundas West is a competitive place, and it's one eatery short after the former celebrity hot spot called it a day.

One could speculate about the reasons, but it's tough-going when you play ball in Toronto's restaurant hot-bed. Bar Isabel might not share a street address and sports bars might be taking over, but nobody's telling why exactly Hudson bit the dust. Perhaps the location was just damned.
