Residents of Toronto's "West End" ride hard for their area — but where does that area actually begin? As it turns out, people aren't too sure.
Toronto's West End is an ill-defined but broadly loved area of the city, home, it's said, to creatives and cool folk alike (that must be why I live there), but it's not as easy to point out where it begins and ends as one may expect.
To get some help on finding a consensus on this age-old debate, blogTO took to the streets to ask the only people we trust — real Toronto residents — for their opinions on the matter.

A consensus, as fate would have it, was not reached. Answers as to where the West End begins ranged as far east as Bay Street and as far west as Runnymede and Bloor, while others argued that, west of High Park, you're basically not in Toronto anymore (which is categorically incorrect).
A couple of people argued that Bathurst Street marks the eastern border of Toronto's West End, while others argued that it should be taken on a neighbourhood-by-neighbourhood basis, rather than drawing a sweeping North-South border.
