The gradual evolution of Toronto's Yonge and Dundas intersection into a mini Times Square could continue with the addition of another video signage installation at the bustling crossing.
A signage permit application filed in January seeks to add a digital video board atop the Uniqlo location at CF Eaton Centre, which would face east towards Sankofa Square.
The proposed Brava Series SMD 10mm LED exterior digital display is proposed to measure over 10 metres in height and 5.75 metres wide, and would be mounted flush within a recessed area on the store's blank facade, currently home to a Uniqlo logo.

It wouldn't be the largest video display overlooking Sankofa Square by a long shot, but the proposed signage represents a new chapter in the decades-long expansion of the Yonge-Dundas intersection's evolution into a miniaturized version of New York's Times Square or London's Picadilly Circus.
It's also a big step forward for Uniqlo. The application comes hot on the heels of the brand's Sept. 2025 grand reopening of its CF Eaton Centre location and debut of Uniqlo's Union Station location.
