Wall to Wall

Shot of Art: Wall to Wall at Gallery 44

Gallery 44's annual Wall to Wall exhibition and sale is great way to keep up on what the members of the photography-driven art space have been up to over the last year, and to do a little holiday shopping. Composed of both framed and unframed work, there's something for a range of collectors, from the newbie/gift-giver to the seasoned art hunter. As with any group show the work is a bit uneven, but I look at this event in terms of a buying opportunity more than anything else, and I thus don't focus in on the stuff that I don't like.

As was the case last year, the Print Annex is selling a variety of prints (unframed) in prices of $40, $60, and $100. That type of pricing is competitive with online galleries like 20x200 and Toronto's own Circuit Gallery (both of which I would also check out if doing art-based shopping). The opening was last night, but there are still prints to be had as the show/sale extends until December 10th.

Here's a peek at what's on offer.
