International Ceramic Art Fair

It all starts with the International Ceramic Art Fair, on now through Aug. 16, which features works by 13 artists pushing the boundaries of clay.

From 3D-printed pottery to motion-activated ceramic landscapes, this biennial exhibition is a must-visit for contemporary art lovers.

Pottery on the Plaza

Drop by every Wednesday to Saturday for Pottery on the Plaza. Taking place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. until Aug. 21, it's the place to be for hands-on art making and a chance to soak up the beautiful summer weather.

Enjoy the self-guided clay activities (included with admission and free for members) and let those creative juices flow.

Pottery class

Why not take a pottery class this summer? With the Gardiner's Single Classes, you'll experiment with wheel throwing, hand building, and glazing during a two-hour session. August classes are on sale now. 

Perfect for the kiddos too, Gardiner is offering special family workshops where kids and adults can craft together in the studio.

$30 annual pass

For less than the cost of two visits, museum-goers can get unlimited access to the museum's collection, special exhibitions, and Pottery on the Plaza for just $30 with an annual pass.

It's the perfect excuse to explore the Gardiner's world-renowned collection and recently transformed ground floor. Plus, it gives you access to the new Rosalie Sharp Gallery, which hosts 500 remarkable pieces of blue-and-white porcelain.
