20/20 Vision

M-ONE-11 is tearing down its walls. Steve Ferrara, the owner of the Queen West clothing shop, gave me a little tour of his sizable office at the back of the store the other day and explained how he'll be converting it to a gallery space.

In the past, M-ONE-11's retail area has been host to a number of interesting exhibits. Before moving their exhibits to the back space they'll be hosting at least one more show. It's called 20/20 Vision and opening night is next Saturday November 18th.

For 20/20 Vision, the store has selected 20 notable Torontonians to participate. Each one has been given a camera to shoot and document 1 roll of 35mm film of all they see, do, encounter and experience within a 20 hour timeframe.

Among the artists participating include DJ Barbi, Gilson Lubin, Morgan Waters, Gentleman Reg and Rannie Turingan.

20/20 Vision takes place at M-ONE-11, 561 Queen Street West, 416-703-7490. Opening night is November 18th, 2006 6pm to 10pm. The exhibit runs until December 3, 2006. Proceeds of all sales to benefit CNIB.
