Colin Channer

Award winning Toronto sci-fi writer Nalo Hopkinson gave me this heads-up regarding author Colin Channer. Channer will be in town to read from his new book "Iron Balloons: Hit Fiction from Jamaica's Calabash Writer's Workshop," which he edited and to which he contributed a new story.

Joining him will be a special guest: poet, author and Toronto academic Afua Cooper will be reading from her new book of poetry Copper Woman.

These readings will occur on Monday, June 26, 7 pm at A Different Booklist on 746 Bathhurst St.
