Daylight Savings Time Radar

With the weather getting better, things really start to heat up in Toronto on the arts front. In just a month's time, the Contact Photography Festival kicks off. It's their 10th anniversary and this year's web site is now up. If you're looking to exhibit, M-One-11 will be choosing 20 submissions to display in their store during the festival. Stop by their store at 561 Queen West for more info.

Switching to the music scene, I'll be checking out The Man Show featuring Final Fantasy at the Music Gallery next Sunday April 9th. I'm also planning on stopping by Andy Poolhall to catch Kaskade this Wednesday, April 5th.

Also on tap this week is Dishoom, a dose of Indian Electronica at the Hooch, upstairs from the Gypsy Co-Op this Friday. The promoters are promising no cover, no attitude and no samosas.

Finally, I'm toying with the idea of seeing the world premiere of The Golden Thug, debuting at the Buddies In Bad Times Theatre this Thursday April 6th.
