CONTACT Photo Contest is On

If you haven't heard yet, it seems there is actually one accessible way to get your photos in the running for a spot in T.O.'s upcoming CONTACT Photography Festival.

CONTACT and the HP Gallery are teaming up to present a digital images contest. Canadian photographers are invited to submit images on the theme of "Imaging a Global Culture". Selected images will be printed for display at the gallery in May and come the end of the month, the top 3 images will be chosen by a jury of: Nicholas Metivier (gallery owner), Edward Burtynsky (pro photographer) and Ken Faught (Photo Editor at the Star).

Keeping your 'eye on the prize' may not necessarily be worth the saying as winners get HP merch, but the real deal here is having your photos shown in this festival -- which is otherwise would've been a pretty costly endeavour.

Contest runs April 1 - May 20th. Imaging a Global Culture exhibition runs April 28 - May 31 at the HP Gallery (510 King St West).
