ArtsWeek Kickoff Makes Some Noise

Today at the TD Centre Courtyard (the heart of the non-arts district, really), musicians, artists, and festival-goers of all varieties are coming together to kick off ArtsWeek 2005.

Aside from over 100 exhibitors (arts and otherwise), there will be 2 stages set up for music and dance performances. Just a few of the great acts to hit the stage: Andy Stochansky, Justin Rutledge, Priya Thomas, Lori Cullen and yep, Ashley MacIsaac (pictured here).

Kevin Frankish hosts, David Miller will show up at noon, and the party goes til 7pm.

Oh, and if you want to be geeky and come by to say hi, I'll be in booth #95 by the big cow/bull statues. Yeehaw.
