Fantasy Fashion Show at MOCCA

Heard about the "Make Up and Make Out" Fantassy Fashion Show today, and while I don't know a lot about it, it seems like a really interesting idea.

It's taking place at MOCCA (952 Queen W) on July 6th between 8-10pm and essentially it's a fashion show, without the merchandising aspect -- or the cultural backlash in the case of Fashion Cares. The purpose here is to allow artists and designers to let their imaginations run rampant and then show off the results.

Beside fun with fashion, the event is actually a fundraiser for Gallery 1313, a non-profit artist run centre and MOCCA has donated the space.

The run down for your Wednesday night @ MOCCA:
- First program with about eight different runs
- Intermission - mingling with local artists and subsequent trips to the cash bar.
- Second program with another eight different runs!

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. You can give Gallery 1313 a ring for info on advance tix @ 416-536-6778.
