It's almost bedtime for the Pajama Men

Wait! Before you make the rest of this week's plans, you should know this is the last chance to see the Pajama Men at Second City's Tim Sims Theatre. Believe me when I say you don't know what you are missing until you see it. It only runs from Wednesday to Saturday, so you'd best act now and think later...

I want to call it a play, because there are plot lines. Kind of. Randomly. It's more like a sketch comedy show, but genuinely funnier. One skit very quickly and cleverly strings into the next, leaving the audience open jawed from both laughter and awe.

Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez, on special visit from Albuquerque (don't ask), are so much more than a dynamic duo. It's like one is the right brain, and one is the left and together their show is all brains, yet incredibly ridiculous at the same time. After the non-stop, back to back skits, it's hard to believe it was possible to be that entertained by two guys on stage in just their pajamas.

Needless to say, with a show this good, I'm not the first to like it. Infact, their work has been recognized internationally through the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Just for Laughs and Fringe Festivals across Canada.

This week's opening acts are Iron Cobra and The Burnt Marshmallows. From Wednesday to Saturday this week, the show starts at 9pm.
Saturday night it's at 10:30pm.
