TIFF Toronto bars 4 a.m. last callYou'll probably want to know what bars in Toronto are serving booze until 4 a.m. for TIFF 2012 just because stalking Ryan Gosling can be a physically tiring and emotionally draining exercise. And nothing eases such a state of being than binge drinking. Seriously. It's good for your heart, body and mind.

Ah, whatever. Even if it's not, this is, after all, film festival time, and maybe you need that extra two hours (and four drinks) to hammer out a deal of some kind. Who cares? The bars are open late; might as well celebrate.

Here's a list of bars and restaurants that'll be dinging the bell for last call two hours later than usual. And don't forget the map at the bottom! Wayfinding can be a tough-slog at 3:30 a.m.

e11even is not open until 4am, they just had a temporarily extended liquor license as one of the venues hosting the opening gala. Even then, they stopped serving at 2am.

Toronto should be serving booze 24-7/365 when humans have evolved enough to be able to handle booze properly. Right now, many of us don't handle booze properly. And just because Tokyo has 24 hour bars doesn't mean that Toronto has to have them too.

Seriously? You honestly think that the Queen of England actually does anything any more? As anyone living in a constitutional monarchy knows, the queen and her brood does jack shit in the government these days. She's just there to sit and look dignified on important occasions. Otherwise she and her family don't leave the palace unless they're accompanied with a large group of guards and even then they're never to leave the sight of the guards and can't meet with people that haven't had their backgrounds checked. They're really nothing more than a relic of a by-gone era that has surprisingly managed to live through the revolutions and rebellions that many of the other monarchies of Europe wasn't able to.

It never ceases to amaze me to find people who actually think that the Queen of England actually has any power any more. The ignorance is purely astounding.
