Brazen Hussy, Satori Supper Club Enter the Deadpool

Walking along Queen west of Bathurst earlier today I noticed that two relatively new places have already gone out of business. Brazen Hussy (pictured above) sold cute t-shirts, skirts and girly stuff but apparently couldn't make it beyond a full year in business on Queen. No news yet on whether the store or the clothing line will resurface.

A little further east at Tecumseth, Satori Supper Club also called it quits after about a year in business. The swank spot, reincarnated after the closing of the once popular Habitat, never really seemed to gain much traction and certainly didn't generate the late night drink sales like its predecessor.

As the sign on the window says, the space has now been leased. Let's hope the new tenant brings some fresh ideas how to re-invigorate the space.
