No Regrets might have had a few. The dreaded notice of termination (below) was posted to their front entrance recently informing all Liberty Village lunchers that the restaurant/bar/event space's time was up. And maybe my description here was part of the problem. I'm not sure if No Regrets ever figured out what it was trying to be.

When it first opened, the combination of restaurant downstairs and event space/lounge/bar upstairs was definitely something new in the neighbourhood. Initially, the kitchen turned out some pretty tasty stuff at reasonable prices but over the years the formula was tweaked, then overhauled and I sort of stopped paying attention.

It's too bad. No Regrets had a lot of unfulfilled potential. The space (despite being hidden as part of the Dufferin Liberty Centre was a dreamy post and beam enclave that, in the right hands, could still be transformed into something interesting.
