The Department: Four Levels of Arts & Culture

Having visited The Department last month to check out Susan Dobson's show, Retail, I was keen to return to have a chat with owner Zach Kellum about his gallery, a recent addition to the Dundas West strip. As it turns out, the designation 'gallery' doesn't quite do justice to this multifaceted enterprise. Beyond the ground floor exhibition space, The Department is also home to the cultural marketing company of the same name, and boasts both a recording studio/rehearsal space and five artist studios.
