Toronto residents travelling abroad often notice the stark differences between vacation destinations and the way things are back home, but sometimes there are more similarities than you'd think.
Toronto is known for its multicultural mosaic, impressive food scene, and soaring skyscrapers — often drawing comparisons to cities like New York.
blogTO hit the streets to get a sense of which city outside of Canada locals feel most at home in, and the most popular answer probably won't drop any jaws. Other cities were named for their multiculturalism, nightlife, food, and built form, including Amsterdam, Chicago, Tokyo, Gurugram, and Miami.
